Feb 22, 2024 — EZVIZ, a global smart home innovator, today announced that two products in its smart living product line have been awarded the 2024 Asia Design Prize. Selected from 1,601 designs from 25 countries around the world, the EP3x Pro Dual-lens Battery-powered Video Doorbell and the RE4 Plus Robot Vacuum & Mop Combo stand out for their successful efforts to combine simplified design and enhanced functionality.

Founded in 2016, the Asia Design Prize is one of the top design award in the pan-Asian region, and among the group of well-known international design competitions. The award goes beyond the simplicity and complexity of modeling, and focuses on the creative potential of products and outstanding design concepts.

The EP3x Pro is EZVIZ’s most innovative video doorbell that combines functionality, simplicity, security, and aesthetics in one device – and is also incredibly sustainable through the use of solar energy. The original idea of this front door security solution was born from the user’s need for human motion and package detection and a head-to-toe field of view, fulfilled by the revolutionary dual-lens design. With a 2K upper lens and a 1080p bottom lens, house owners can see and respond remotely when a visitor stops by or a delivery man drops off a package. Where the function meets design is minimalist. This new video doorbell comes with large, detachable battery to ditch complicated electricity wiring at the front door. Installation is simple for anyone. RE4 Plus Robot Vacuum & Mop Combo

A multifunctional cleaning machine that efficiently combines daily vacuuming and mopping, the RE4 Plus is a cost-effective choice for busy parents and pet owners. The minimalist product philosophy lies not only in the way the product interacts with the user, but also in the design itself. The RE4 Plus minimizes human labor to the largest extent by automatically charging itself and collecting the waste in a sealed dust bag, so that the user only has to manually empty the dustbin every 90 days. It also contributes to a greener lifestyle by using recycled plastics in its machine body, and has a large, auto-collection dustbin that reduces the use of disposable bags.
