September 30, 2022 – EZVIZ, a world’s top brand in smart home security, has brought home the honor of 2022 Top Design Winner by the European Product Design Award. The winning product, EZVIZ Battery-powered Baby Monitor 1 (BM1), stands out in the Children Product Category – it boasts advanced detection and monitoring technology with a cute, petite design, and is an ideal smart helper to new parents or working couples who seek a modern way of 24/7 protection and distant companionship.

The European Product Design Award is a widely acknowledged international design event that attracts thousands of products and designers around the globe every year. This award recognized the efforts to improve everyone’s daily lives with practical, well-thought-out creations. Thoughtful design that puts love first

With two animal shape options – the peachy bunny and the aqua bear – the EZVIZ Baby Monitor 1 is battery-powered to go anywhere inside the baby’s room, without leaving tangled wires or being visually intrusive as a traditional bulky home camera. In addition to the installation convenience, the monitor puts a kid’s safety first. With a 100% wire-free setup, it keeps babies away from dangerous cords and uses non-toxic silicone to wrap the camera body. It is safe to be touched or even grabbed by curious hands.

EZVIZ is fully aware that a newborn’s arrival can be extremely demanding. The BM1 not only “sees” what’s happening, but also is smart enough to detect, alert and comfort with the onboard AI. Whether the baby moves or escapes from the custom safety area, parents will be informed immediately with a baby motion alert or out-of-crib notification. Upon detection of a crying sound, the monitor will automatically play soothing music, and alert parents via their phones so they know they’re needed at the moment.

All recorded videos can be stored safely with end-to-end encryption on a local storage card or via EZVIZ CloudPlay services. In this way, the BM1 can also help create a video diary of the precious growing-up moments.
